Day Three – The Bean and Serio Step Up
In another action packed day the closest finish in a Beer-Golf.com
was registered. Mr Bean went into the
day trailing Briano by one point. The duo proceeded to half the front, half
the back, half longest drive, and on count back it was discovered that they
had scored exactly the same on every hole on the back nine. At this point it
was becoming too hard so the tournament was declared a tie with Mr. Bean and
Briano as joint champions on 90 points each.
In terms of teams, the
WetSpot stepped up again and this time, partnered with Styler, won the team
competition.
As the longest drive was also
a tie the bottle of Whiskey was awarded to Mr Kiwi Kent in lieu of winning
most trees hit during the championship.
The closest to the Pin was
sensationally grabbed by Serio on the 17th who later commented that it was the
first green he hit in regulation over the three days.
